The Sojourn adventure began in 2002 with a line of ready-bag handbags designed by company founder Jennifer Gordon. The name Sojourn, defined as a brief stay or visit, was chosen to celebrate individual style and honor Jennifer’s love for travel.

The Lady Behind the Bags, Jennifer Gordon

Born in Chicago and raised in Southern California, Jen returned to her roots after graduating from Pepperdine University. A ten-year detour into the world of public relations followed. Inspired by turning 30 and ready to satisfy her insatiable desire to start her own venture, Jen set out on her own sojourn. Armed with an inherited sense of style from her Mom, who at the young age of 53 started her own line of creative hats, Jen took the plunge into entrepreneurship.

A perfect mix of style and function, Sojourn Bags prove that fashion isn’t driven by trend alone.
