A fashionista at heart and a woman who gave freely of herself, my mom embodied
a rare sense of self and style that inspired those around her to do better.
Born in Braddock, PA and raised in Chicago before moving to Southern California,
her generous spirit lives on in the people she touched. A pioneering energy led
her to start her own personalized hat company at the young age of 53. Her life
cut short at just 56 she is remembered for her grace, charmand extraordinary character.

Should Know National wear red day is February 1 2008. Sojourn
encourages you to wear red throughout the year to show your support. Heart disease
and stroke are the No. 1 and No. 3 killers of women. They are two of the many
cardiovascular diseases that kill nearly 500,000 women each year. That’s
more than the next seven causes of death combined, including all forms of cancer.
